Frequently asked questions

What is Cirqate?

Cirqate is a curated platform where you can exchange premium fashion items with trusted users—giving your wardrobe new life without spending money or renting. Think of it as unlocking access over ownership.

Is this a resale or rental site?

Neither. Cirqate introduces a new model: premium swapping. You retain ownership of your item until a mutual match is made. No selling. No renting. Just circular, curated exchange.

Q: What types of items can I swap?

Currently, we’re focused on designer bags. As we grow, we’ll expand into watches, sunglasses, jewelry, and premium fashion clothing.

Can I choose what I swap my item for?

Yes. You can either exchange directly with another user or earn Cirqate Points for your item and use them later to redeem other listings.

Q: Do I have to ship my item?

Yes—but we make it simple. Shipping is currently coordinated by our team, and in the future, we’ll launch an integrated system for seamless logistics.

Q: Who pays for shipping?

Shipping will be included in the transaction fee we charge on each successful swap.

Q: What does it cost?

During the MVP phase, there is no fee. In the future, we’ll introduce a small transaction fee to cover authentication, logistics, and platform services.

Q: How do you ensure items are authentic?

Right now, Cirqate is open only to verified, invite-only users. We’re working toward integrating professional authentication for every item listed.

Q: What if the item I receive is damaged or not as described?

For now, swaps happen only within a trusted user circle. Going forward, all exchanges will be insured, covering loss, wear, and damage.

Q: Is Cirqate open to everyone?

Currently, we're building a curated early-access community. Apply via the listing form or sign up for the waitlist—we’re reviewing users weekly.

Q: How can I be part of the early access group?

Submit a listing or request an invite. Once reviewed, you’ll receive onboarding details to begin swapping.
